Constructed in two phases – 1998 and 2000 – Decatur Highlands is located in the desirable Clifton area of Atlanta. The Clifton Corridor is often referred to as “Eds and Meds” as it is home to Emory University, Emory Healthcare, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and the Atlanta VA Medical Center. Clifton Corridor is also home to an additional 40,000 jobs in the medical research, medical services, and higher-education sectors. Decatur Highlands is also a seven-mile drive to Downtown and Midtown Atlanta, home to 140,000 and 97,500 jobs, respectively. Decatur Highlands will undergo an extensive renovation including a new gym, the addition of a new package locker room, clubhouse renovation, and upgraded interiors.
